The Comptroller and his senior staff are asked, on a daily basis, to rule upon complex transactions with an international dimension.

The Income Tax Office also performs a vital function for our community here in Jersey - the tax they assess and collect forms some 85% of total States revenue, helping fund vital public services such as education and health.

Land Transaction Tax

The Taxation (Land Transactions )(Jersey) Law 200- was passed by the States Assembly recently. This legislation does not become law until it has been enacted by the Royal Court and notice will be published in the Gazette of the Jersey Evening Post at that time.
